Early Bird registration runs through July 31, 2025.

This Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy Conference, a Wrightslaw training program featuring Pete Wright, is being sponsored by The Conner Group for Pediatric Therapies, LLC. The program will be held at the UGA Conference Center located at 15 RDC Road in Tifton, GA.

One-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:

  • special education law, rights and responsibilities
  • tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
  • SMART IEPs
  • introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy

Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The program is not disability specific.

* Early Bird registrants will receive a FREE adobe.pdf download of Wrightslaw: Special Education Legal Developments and Cases 2017, which includes all of the 2017 U.S. Court of Appeals special education cases and the two 2017 U.S. Supreme court cases, Fry and Endrew F. Early Bird registration runs through July 31, 2025.

Registration fee includes lunch and refreshments, three books Wrightslaw: Special Education Law, 3rd Edition, Wrightslaw: From Emotions to Advocacy, 2nd Edition and Wrightslaw: All About IEPs. Wrightslaw will provide the three books to each attendee in the adobe.pdf format as well. The three print and pdf books retail for $113.60.

Credits: 6.0 CLE (continuing legal education) credits are approved through the State Bar of Georgia. 0.6 CEUs (continuing education units) are approved through Delta State University.
