Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you work or are you a student?
– Have you ever worked with older people?
– What kind of work did you do with them?
– How did you feel about working with older people?
– Let’s talk about your childhood. Did you enjoy your childhood?
– Where did you grow up?
– What kinds of activities did you enjoy as a child?
– Did you spend more time indoors or outdoors when you were young?
– Is your life very different now compared to when you were a child?


Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a meal you had with your friends. You should say:
– when and where you had the meal
– who you were with
– what food you ate
and explain why this meal was memorable for you.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why is food important in bringing people together?
– How does traditional food reflect a country’s culture or identity?
– Do you think national dishes are still important today?
– How has international food influenced eating habits in your country?
– Should governments promote traditional food as part of national identity?
– Do younger people value traditional food as much as older generations?
