Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Are you a student or do you work?
– Do you often stay up late at night?
– How do you usually feel the next morning if you sleep late?
– Why do people often stay up late at night?
– What impact can staying up late have on a person’s daily routine?
– Do you prefer working or studying during the day or night?
– Have your sleeping habits changed over time?
– What do you do to help yourself sleep better?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe an older person you admire. You should say:
– who the person is
– where you met them
– what qualities you admire in them
and explain how this person has inspired you.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Do you enjoy spending time with older people?
– What kinds of things can younger people learn from the elderly?
– How are the lifestyles of older people different from younger people?
– Are there any things that older people can learn from the younger generation?
– Do you think older people play an important role in society?
– How can society support older people in living fulfilling lives?
