Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Where do you live?
– Do you like the place where you live? Why or why not?
– Do you often give gifts to others?
– What kind of gifts do you usually give?
– Have you ever received a special gift?
– Did you enjoy learning history at school?
– Do you think history is important for young people?
– How do people in your country learn about history outside of school?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a day when you went somewhere during your free time. You should say:
– where you went
– who you were with
– what you did there
and explain how you felt about spending your free time this way.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– How important is free time in people’s lives?
– Do you think people today have less free time than in the past? Why?
– What kinds of activities do people in your country usually do in their free time?
– Do you think leisure activities for children and adults should be different? Why or why not?
– How has technology changed the way people spend their free time?
– Should employers encourage their workers to have more free time? Why?
