In 5th Grade Integers
Worksheet we will solve how to show the given integers on the number line,
addition and subtraction of integers using number line, comparison of integers,
absolute value of an integer, true or false statements of integers and word
problems on integers.


I. Draw a number-line and show the given integers on it.

-7,            0,            -4,            8,            -2,             5

II. Find the given integers:

(i) Opposite of 71

(ii) Opposite of -42

(iii) |-71|

(iv) 4 more than -7

(v) 8 less than 1

(vi) The predecessor of -99.

(vii) The successor of -40.

(viii) Four integers between -10 and -5.

III. Using a number-line, find the answers to the given
statement.

(i) -2 -7

(ii) -4 -5

(iii) -1 +6

(iv) -9 -3

(v) -10 +8

(vi) -4 +1

IV. Compare the given and put the right sign or
=.

(i) -17 ……… 0

(ii) –6 -10 ……… -10 +6

(iii) 45 ……… -45

V. Write all the integers between the given numbers.

VIII. The maximum and minimum temperature of a city was 24°c
and -4°c respectively. What was the difference between the maximum and minimum
temperature?

(iv) -16 is greater than -26.
