Solution:
No. of trees in 1 row = 13
No. of rows = 10
Therefore, total no. of trees in 10 rows = 13 × 10
Answer: There will be 130 trees in 10 rows.
5. There are 35 boys at the party. Each boy got 13 candies. How
many candies will they get?
Solution:
No. of boys = 35
No. of candies each boy got = 13
Therefore, total no. of candies 35 boys got = 13 × 35 = 455
Answer: The boys got 455 candies.
6. Each cab is carrying 5 people. How many people will there be
in 13 such cabs?
Solution:
No of people in each cab = 5
No of cabs = 13
Therefore, total no. of people in 13 cabs = 5 × 13 = 65
Answer: There will be 65 people in 13 cabs.
